Course Experience
New Sierra Golf feels very different from the classic Costa Blanca courses right from the first tee. The desert look – sandy tones, rock formations, and open vistas – creates a relaxed, almost American desert atmosphere.
For us as beginner golfers, this was the perfect setting: wide fairways, low pressure, clear lines to the greens, and plenty of room for mistakes.
Only hole 8 was an odd one out: the entire fairway slopes to the left, causing even a drive in the middle of the fairway to drift away. Not unplayable, but definitely frustrating.
For us, New Sierra Golf was a super fun first golf experience in a desert environment. The combination of wide fairways, good greens, affordable price, and welcoming atmosphere makes it a great choice for beginners and recreational players.
Apart from the tricky hole 8, the course is playful, friendly, and perfect for building confidence. We really enjoyed it!
